Task required

In this week we assigned to actuate and automate our machine that we made in week15.1

What I did ?

My contribution in this assignment is make the wiring connections (matching the two stepper motors, one server motor with a control board)

Procedure:

First of all, wires are prepared with sufficient length depending on the position of the components and the location of the control board. The tools used in this task are electrical wires, wire stripper and cutter, isolation pipe, solder wire, soldering machine and heater machine as well. The figure below presents the tools used.

The following steps used to make the connections:

Now after preparing the whole wires for the motors. They should be matched with the controlling board. We decided to use cnc shield board that is presented below. Therefore, the wires had been connected according to the pin out of the board.

Finally, wires organized and fix on the frame as shown in the figure below

Calibrate the machine.

As a cooperation with the team I used the code that my colleague Salim did to run the machine. The following video shows some moving in x and y axis’s.
