I discovered that Librecad would not take in the dwg files that I had created so I tried from Creo to create dfx files, this was possible but I still had problems over what was visible and what was not so in the end I decided it would be best to redraw each component within Vcarve as this is the software the maklab use to run their large router cutter.
I have now placed each component on a template that is 2440 x 1220 mm, as shown above, I have access to an older version of this software away from the maklab but this only allows me to go so far as I do not know what cutters they have. I could assume a certain size of cutter but if I get this wrong I would just need to redo the work.
Once I have the cutter sizes I will then create a tool path with tabs.
The parts above will make two cabinets, I was tempted to do one cabinet as is - using traditional joinery techniques once cut out and alter the part shapes for the second cabinet to use modern tusk tennons but on looking at the amount of sheet used this is not feasible from the one sheet, and I am behind so no need to make anything more complex than necessary.
