I decided to take advantage of the make something big in order to produce a cabinet that is much needed for our wood turning lathes at work. Working with Creo, as I had for the watches box I drew each part of this cabinet and assembled the project on screen to allow me to make and refine my design decisions.
This meant producing a series of drawings for each part and saving these as dxf files, my main problem here was that whilst I could do this for the watches box as it was smaller than A3 this was something big and my drawing packages wanted me to work on either A4 or A3 it took some time before I discovered that Librecad would allow me to draw something big.
So at this stage I have all the drawings completed and saved as individual dxf files but I now need to create a layout for the part on Librecad to save this as dxf before I can cut it.
