About Me

Hi, I’m Giga Gigauri — a FabLab specialist, electronics enthusiast, and educator based in Tbilisi, Georgia.

I am currently working at the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) as a FabLab Specialist, where I focus on prototyping, digital fabrication, and supporting innovators in turning ideas into real products.

My background is in Electronics and Communications Engineering, and I have been actively involved in robotics, embedded systems, and STEM education from an early stage.

🔧 What I Do

  • Work with digital fabrication tools (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC)
  • Develop hardware prototypes using microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32)
  • Teach electronics, robotics, and 3D modeling
  • Support startups and students in building functional prototypes

🎓 Experience & Teaching

I have several years of experience in STEM education and mentoring, including:

  • STEM Mentor in the USAID Basic Education Program
  • Mentor for World Robot Olympiad (WRO) teams
  • Co-founder and instructor at Mechatronics Academy
  • Lab assistant at a national-level educational laboratory

I’ve worked with students of different levels, helping them develop practical engineering skills through hands-on projects.
