Introduction

The Fab-CNC Sand Canvas is an interactive educational device designed to demonstrate the principles of magnetism, motion, and physical forces. The table consists of a sand surface, where a small magnetic ball is moved using an external magnetic wand, creating visible patterns in the sand. This product is targeted for educational purposes, science exhibits, and interactive learning.

Project Goals

1.Educational Purpose: Develop a tool that can visually demonstrate principles such as magnetism, particle motion, and the interaction between forces.

2. Interactive Experience: Allow users to control the movement of a magnetic ball using a wand, which can be used to create different patterns in the sand.

3. Durability: The table should be built using durable materials to withstand frequent handling, especially in educational and museum environments.

4. Ease of Use: Ensure the product is intuitive and easy for users of various age groups, particularly for students and children

5. Customizable Features: Allow for adjustable magnetic fields to vary the speed and movement of the ball.

System Architecture

1. Magnetic Ball: A small, spherical ball made of a ferromagnetic material. It reacts to magnetic fields and moves across the sand surface when influenced by a magnetic wand.

2. Sand Table: A flat surface filled with fine, white sand. The sand should be able to hold visible trails left by the ball to allow users to see the movement.

3. Magnetic Wand: A handheld device that generates a magnetic field. The strength of the magnetic field will determine the ball's speed and direction

4. Electronics (Optional): For models with lighting or interactive features, additional electronics may be needed to control lighting, visual effects, or sensor-based interactions.

5. Power Supply: If the table includes powered features (like LEDs or digital controls), a stable power source will be necessary.
