Computer Controlled Machining (CCM) is a manufacturing process that involves the use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform precise and complex cuts, drills, and milling operations on a variety of materials. CCM typically involves the use of CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths that can be used by CNC machines to fabricate parts and components.

For this week the goal is to design and create something big.

The idea
The "Flow Wall Desk" is a design od a desk made by Robert Van Embricqs, and when I saw these design online I felt in love with it and wanted to build one for myself.
Then the assignment for this week came up and I saw the opportunity to fulfill my dream and I started thinking in a way to make this desk but also check the requirements of designing without hinges and screws or glue.
Creating the my flexible version
I followed the next steps to create my version of the flow wall desk using live hinges:
1. Select live hinge
Some text
2. Create the CAD
3. Export the model's Gcode
4. Fabrication
5. Test
What's the backup plan
Because the first idea I had didn't work I'll build something that I need now.
A friend needs a super small desk where to put his laptop, so thats what I'm going to design now.
1. The specifications
The space my friend has the following dimensions:
- Width: 650mm
- Height: 600mm
- Depth: Just enough for a small laptop
- Supported weight: At least 5kg
- Extras:
- Be as minimal as possible
- As pretty as possible
2. Create the CAD
3. Export the model's Gcode
4. Fabrication
5. Test
