Montana Mask¶
A PPE mask that accept inserts cut from a N95 surgical mask. 10 masks can be made from one surgical mask.
Why¶
There are not enough N95 masks for medical personnel in Chicago.
Making it¶
There are cracks in this print! Not good for a face mask that needs a seal, I will switch to PLA for my next print
My ORD Bot printer does not print PETG well, even with 6mm retraction there is still a ton of stringing
At this point due to the 80C build plate temperatures, needed to run PETG, some of the magnets on the bottom of my build plate broke free of their adhesive and stacked up onto each other.
Will try PLA and then flex filament when I get a Flashforge finder at home that I will pick up from the MSI Chicago Fab Lab.
