Assignment for this week: design and make a 3D mold, and produce a fiber composite part in it

In the tradition of reusing … I used the foam cut I made in the Make Somthing Big module

I cut some fiberglass sheets (4).

I mixed Resin with some hardner at the ratio of 100%:30%

I put some nylon on the table and started spreading the mix on the sheets, one by one.

Then I spread som wax on the foam mold

and attached the fiberglass with the mix to it

I let it dry for one day

And then ,carefully (it cuts …) removed the fiberglass from the foam mold

And That is it …
