This week assignment is: make the FabISP in-circuit programmer and then solder its components and proggram it.

I downloaded the FabISP image and the FabISP labeled board diagram:

Then I soldered the components.

The first board did not work – I don’t know why – so I made a new one ….

I have Windows 7 on my Laptop and I couldn’t install the driver for the AVR thing. I’ll fix that later. I programmed the board on another computer:

Some very important things to remember:

When you start soldering – be very organize:

• Look at the board image first and understand what components you need and which component oes where
• Gather all the components you need before you start
• It takes time the first time you try – so be patient ..
