Week 05 - 3D scanning and printing

This week I will learn about 3D scanning and printing.

Group Assignment:

1、Test the design rules of a 3D printer (overhangs, tolerances, bridging, etc.) to understand its performance limitations (each printer is different)

Individual Assignment:

1、Design and print a small 3D object that cannot be made through subtractive manufacturing (something CNC cannot do), for example:

2、2.3D scan an object and record the process (you can choose whether to print it or not) Choose a suitable object (matte, textured) and select appropriate 3D scanning software.
