About

Allow me to introduce myself. I am an industrial designer hailing from the beautiful country of Ecuador, located at the heart of the world. For the past five years, I have been working as a professor in both public and private universities, where I teach students about the development of industrial product design.

Currently, I am a PhD in the Design, Manufacturing, and Management of Industrial Projects program at the prestigious Universitat Politécnica de Valéncia. My passion for digital manufacturing technologies and their practical applications in real-world scenarios motivated me to enroll in the Fab Academy program. Through this program, I aim to broaden my knowledge about digital manufacturing technologies and how they can be utilized to design effective hand rehabilitation devices. This research area also happens to be the focus of my thesis, which I am currently working on.

My previous experience as the head of a Fab Lab has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of digital manufacturing technologies. I am excited to be part of the Fab Academy network and look forward to learning from like-minded individuals who share my passion for designing innovative products that can make a positive impact on people's lives.
