Project Development

This is the continuation of the CNC project with the xy core. Here we were working on the cnc machine a portable Z axis will be added.

First of all the part of development of the machine is the design in solid works, were also documented on Toshiro Tabuchi's website. Here the assembly

All the machine were made using only the laser machine because is the easiest and most quickly form to fabricate a very strong variety of pieces.

After the organization of all pieces the programation and electronic part would be prepared for the new machine.

The next images will show how the Z axis would be assembled it is portable and has a "sissors mechanism" to grow up.

Then the process of assembly the new XY core here we use less gears because the gear in the middle has two different levels for the different belts.

Then the spindle of a milling machine, also all laser cut fabricated.

Finally, another important part is the container that would protect and make portable this machine a box:

And this is the final appearance of the cnc, this is a box that reduces the size when it is closed.
