About me

My name is Harri Seto, and I am a Junior at Charlotte Latin School. Some of my interests are trying new things, engineering, and soccer. I started engineering around 8th grade, and I have fallen in love with it since. Since I joined Charlotte Latin, I have taken the engineering courses offered, and have got exposure to the tools around the shop and the software that comes along with it such as the 3D printers, CNC machines, Laser cutters, and with software such as Fusion 360, CorelDraw, and Inkscape. I look forward to this course, and I believe that with the skills that I will obtain from the class, I will be able to create many cool things in the future as well.

My background

I am originally from Charlotte, but my family has its roots in Japan and India. I think that it is cool to have a cultural mix, and to have an exposure to all of these cultures, as I have learned many things from all of them. I know that there are people from both of those countries participating in this program, and I think it is cool how this program is world wide, and I hope to talk to them one day.

Previous work

I started engineering in the Fab Lab around 8th grade, and have loved engineering ever since. I took several courses giving me exposure to the tools and software for the tools in the shop, and I have made several projects with the skills that I have obtained. The two semester classes that I took when I joined is called Engineering Design Method I and II. In these classes, we made a final project, in which we had to use the skills we learned throughout the semester, and then documented it on a website. The website link is here
