Week 19 Invention, intellectual property and income

This week we had to develop a plan for dissemination of your final project. Prepare drafts of your summary slide (presentation.png, 1920x1080) and video clip (presentation.mp4, 1080p HTML5, < ~minute, < ~10 MB) and put them in your root directory

Invention

The wooden night lamp is a night lamp I created based on my kids and loving the looks of wooden lamps furniture etc. I was inspired by wooden pallet lamps that I have seen on the internet. For the future I want to make lamps that also have a charging station (wireless) and lamps that are more kid friendly (wtih colors, round edges, etc).

Intellectual Property

For licensing I went with Creative Commons license because you are free to share the material in any medium or format and adapt upon the material for any purpose, even commercially. As long as you follow the terms mentioned here.

Income

So initially I developed this lamp for own use. But after getting a few offers already I am thinking about maybe trying a business, because woodworks are very expensive in this country. And if I can make affordable lamps, it can be a great kickstarter.
