3. Computer Aided design¶
This week I designed my final project using Fusion 360.
software¶
I have already used fusion 360 quite a bit and am very comfortable with it so I will be using that. I used Inkscape on my final project, you can see the file on my final project page. It took me a little while to get used to using inkscape, but I ended up enjoying it.
Process¶
I was pretty confident in my use of Fusion 360 because I have used it in a previous class. I first used the sketch tool to create a rectangle and then extruded it, then I created a second smaller regtangle perpendicular of the first and extruded it joining it to the first.
I put a rectangle on the underside of the larger one, extruded it, and then changed the physical material to mirror to represent the LEDs. I used the shell tool on the smaller rectangle to create a space for the wires and batteries.
