    Assignment - Start working on final project
  • What it will do - It will be a hand that can be closed and opened with a special control panel for controlling it.
  • Who's done what beforehand - There were some people that have made things like this one in the past, (here is one of them)
  • What materials and components will be required - 5 micro servo, 1 big servo, 5 potentiometers, PLA or ABS plastic for the fingers and MDF for the wrist
  • Where will they come from - Components from Dan Electronics and the Materials from the FabLab
  • How much it will cost - somewhere near 75$ (i think)
  • Here is the BOM:
  • What parts and systems will be made - Fingers, Wrist and Control panel (which are most of the hand)
  • What processes will be used - 3D Printing, Milling in the Modela and Milling in the ShopBot
  • What tasks need to be completed - 3D printing, Milling, Programming and Testing.
  • What questions need to be answered -
  • What is the schedule - 1) 3D Printing and milling, 2) Testing the system with an Arduino, 3) Designing the board, 4) Getting all together
