Presentation 2020

From 2020 to 2024

Embarking on my Fab Academy journey in 2020, my experience was marked by both challenges and triumphs. Despite the unprecedented circumstances brought about by the global pandemic and the Arcakh war in September 2020, I persevered and successfully presented my final project.

Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding Covid-19 and the Arcakh war affected the global evaluation, leading to an unexpected outcome where I did not pass either the local or global evaluations. This setback, however, did not deter my commitment to the Fab Academy community.

In the aftermath of my initial Fab Academy year, I remained actively involved in subsequent editions. I played a crucial role in assisting Babken, our dedicated instructor, particularly during the wildcard, molding and casting, and make SMT big weeks. Leveraging my expertise and resources from my metalworking factory equipped with a foundry and plasma cutting facilities, I contributed to the learning experiences of fellow Fab Academy participants.

Despite the initial setback, my ongoing involvement in the Fab Academy has been a testament to my resilience and commitment to the principles of digital fabrication. The challenges of 2020 only strengthened my determination to contribute meaningfully to the Fab Academy community, showcasing the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines this unique learning experience.
