Coffee in Peru¶
Amazonas is one of the main coffee production areas in Peru, according to the coffee forum magazine.
In my family environment a lot of coffee is consumed, my family has a small plot where caturra-type coffee has been planted. This variety of coffee has a high production rate, so coffee is never lacking at home, it can be harvested every 6 months.
The process that allows us to have coffee constantly is as follows:
Coffee drying machine¶
My project focuses on step 2 drying, I want to create a prototype of a machine that allows the drying of (dehydrated) coffee, controlling the heat and humidity, with periods of ventilation and movement so that the drying is uniform.
The process will be as follows:
