"How to Make (Almost) Anything"

Who am i?

Hi, my name is Jans Hendry. I am from Indonesia. It is always my passion to make something that has usefulness for me or people around. I am interested to make something tangible. But I realise that in the future, many intangible product or application will be helpful to society. So that, I insist myself to produce something either tangible or intangible that can help people run their life. I found it satisfying when what you produce is usable. I have just a few contributions to society until today. Joining this 2022 fablab academy under supervision of the Kamakura fablab as a bridge to develop future fabrication laboratory in our institution.

The future fabrication laboratory we are planning take place in Kulonprogo regency. We are obligated to support the economics in the regency under the Proof of Concept. Real problems are wished to coming from the society. Our task is to find workarounds related to it. I will encourage myself to working hard to provide them the right solutions. While doing this fablab academy, I am planning to always produce final product for each weekly task and put them under the fablab academy cloud. Hopefully, it will give benefits to anyone who reads my pages.

Looking forward to collaborate with you.

Thank you.

  • Final Project

This is just simple robot with height around 30 cm, because the position of melon is not too far from the ground. The robot will have 4 wheels (DC motor) controlled by microcontroller and drivers. The robot read data from RGB camera and color sensors. The data will be processed using simple Machine Learning algorithm. This robot will walk by following magnetic tapes on the floor. The reason why I choose this because it will be easier to control it than ordinary line follower. Magnetic tape can survive from water drops, stains, and small disturbance that ordinary line follower can’t tackle >>>

    Other Projects

I found that it is gonna be helping me to master all the courses if I challange myself to creating complete products for every weekly tasks.

Well, Yes, It is just a plan. Hopefully I can complete them all...
