For the Electronics Production I milled out the Quentin Bolsee and Adam Harris programmers
Research¶
This is the Quentin Bolsee’s programmer that was milled:
When the surface mount components are soldered in place:
Milled Adam Harris’s Programmer, which can program other SAMD11C14 programmers
I then used the Atmel Programmer to download the SAMD11C14 programming code into Adam’s programmer:
Then I was able to program Quinten’s programmer as the DUT:
Designing a Programmer for the Final Project¶
Requirements for the Final Project Programmer * Use a 1 by 5 header for programming port * Allow a pushbutton to activate the programming download * Have an application dialog to have all *.bin files available for download * Allow single or multiple downloads with each press of the button
Requirements for Final Project Board * Allow SAMD11C14 microcontroller to be programmed with a 1 by 5 header socket * Project Board will have a miniUSB port * All microcontroller pins will be available on headers for daughter card
