Finally we have a final project, where everything comes together. designing, solve a real problem, electronics, coding, producing and presenting.

This week is all about Molding and Casting. A prototyping technique that allows a lot of freedom in shape and gives access to other materials then we have seen so far.

This week we will design and build a machine with a group. I am in the team with Philip, Paula and Erwin and we have a good idea with a machine that will make Fabacademy-live a little more pleasant

This week is a fun week, 'make something big'. Henk got us all plywood boards and we are supposed to make a design that will be human-sized and fit on one board. The design has to be prepared and milled on the Shop-bot-machine

This week is all about 3D-printing and scanning, 3D-printing is a method that is not taking material away but is adding material in slices, which is a great method to make objects that would be impossible to make form one piece using more traditional methods. But, of course there are also quite some restrictions.

Try out differnt 2D and 3D CAD-tools and find which ones work well for you. I decided to learn more about illustrator and work with different 3D-tools to learn the different workflows and basic possibilities
