1. Welcome to my project

This week I worked on defining my final project idea and started to getting used to the documentation process.

Research

I recently read this news in the newspaper of my country about war and hunger. It said that all the people is trying to escape from Siria, so who are keeping their fields and crops? That fact contributes to desertification.

Ligth but strong

My project starts with the “TUMBLEWEED” concept. One object wind-powered with a light structure but resistant.

How it works

This volume will move by deserts just when there is wind, and it will spread seeds to achieve stopping desertification.

Components

I have just thought, there will be 3 main components, 1. The Core. 3D printing volume with the seeds and the electronics 2. Solar Winds. Nylon fabrics with solar panels to charge the correct 3. The Skeleton. Light materials for the “wheel” structure
