>>>>FINAL PROJECT PRESENTATION<<<<
My name is Sukhotskii Dmitry. I am DIMRobotics team leader. My final project is a robot for Eurobot - international robotics contest (rules can be found at www.eurobot.org). 35 European, Asian and African countries participate in Eurobot. Robot should perform perform some tasks defined by rules. For that it has a dedicated time of round: 90 sec. Contest theme changes every year. 2013 season's theme is called "Happy birthday: robots are helping to host the holiday". Tasks are - to open the gifts, arrange glasses, put cherries onto the cake and blow the candles. During Fab Academy I plan to design electronics, mechanics for the robot and build it. For production I will use following processes: molding (robot's wheels), Lasercutting (chassis), 3D Printing (joints and hubs), CNC milling (electronics). Eurobot final is held in France in May.
During past weeks I have already designed beta of my future robot. It will look like so:
4 blue boxes are battery packs.
UPD: On 14th April Eurobot cup took place in Moscow. Our rank was 1st, so we are sent to Eurobot final, which will take place in France.
