Week 11

Composites is very interesting topic for me. I wanted to mold a rubber belt, armed with textile and sewing wire. First I have printed a mold on a 3d printer:

The next step I done was to assemble the mold and put it onto electric screwdriver:

Then I started pouring rubber urethane on the mold and feeding pieces of the textile, fixing it by a wire. Sorry for no photos - I done this assigment myself.

After the process I got this nice armed rubber belt:
