Molding and Casting

The group asinment is to read all the safty sheet of the molding meteral in our labs and then compair the resalts. The Solo asinements was to design a mold and then us our mill to mill it out and make a mold from it. Then using that mold to make a casting.

for the solo Asinement I used fustion 360 to design the objet and the to generate the tool paths. the desine that i made was a weird face thing. I made two tool pats in fustion the first was asaptive clearing here was the resalt.

after adative clearing I use the tool path of __________ for the fine cut here is the resalut.

after this I relised that a chanel that I needed didnt get cut out to cut it out I used a 2-d poket cut and then I got this.

using the mechenible wax as a mold I made this mold. the first image is of it seting, the second is a compairison of the mold to the wax.

I then used the mold to make a cast here is a image of the first cast from the mold next two the mold.

I then used the mold to make anthor cast here are the two cast side by side.
