1. Principles and practices

For this week, I have learnt on:

[√] 1. What is the revolution in FabLab?

[√] 2. What are the Rights and Responsibilities?
- The Fab Charter

For this week, I worked on:

[√] 1. defining my final project idea

I have a role for my students is to promote life education in my school. I believe my students can experience the meaning of life after taking care of plants and animals. The below school facilities are provided for my students to know more about the natural ecosystem and the growth of herbs by using hydroponics method.

Increasing the students’ ownership and placing their own system either in a classroom or at home, I would like to design a small-scale “Automatics AquaPonic System”. Therefore, I would use different computerised and technical skills to finish this project in these months. I can show to my students and teach them what is the significance of the ecosystem between fishes and herbs. Moreover, difference variables including temperature, amount of energy, concentration of chemicals, quality of water can be measured to explain the favourable growing environment. Herbs can also be used for eating.

After finishing my project, I hope my students can use my models as an example to modify and develop their own ones.
