About me

The text in the white board means: healthy, colorful, and interesting

Hi! I am Elfe Xu (徐雁斐).

I lived in Shanghai, China, with my husband, my daughter(10 years old) and a dog(1 year old).

I had worked as a software engineer for 10+ years, and now I’m a CS teacher. I teach kids how to program (with blocks such as Scratch), and teach teachers computational thinking. I founded a community named ET-Bridge, which connects engineers and teachers, to collaborate better CS educations for kids.

I’m not content with virtual world only, and want to create something in physical world as well. That’s why I join the Fab Academy.

The coolest thing I’ve done last year, was the 2050. I’m the coordinator for NewGenForum and organized nearly 100 forums.

2050 is an event which will run every year until 2050. It’s about technology but more like a musical festival. Tens of thousands of people come to 2050, not only for sharing their ideas and works, but also for camping, party and sports. We believe Tech Brings Youth Together, and I would like to invite everyone in FabAcademy to join.
