02 Computer-Aided Design
For my final project, I'd like to use rhino. I'm quite familiar with sketchup, but rhino seems much more precise for a design that needs to be structurally sound - and a program I've been wanting to learn for a long time.
Turns out it has a much sharper learning curve than Sketchup! I spent the last few days going through the 250-page level I book...after about 80 pages, I'm able to produce just this image, the beginning of a custom joint for the urban factory:

It's a slow start, but this program is amazing, so much more powerful than skp! Excited to get better at it.
Also, some more 2D designs. This is a big sticker I co-designed with my boyfriend Nick for a community group in Boston, DSNI. The sticker is publicizing a touch screen that's just inside the entryway into the building.
The installation was intimidating - the sticker was in 3 long pieces, had to be lined up one by one. But it worked!
