Final Project Proposal

Picking a final project is not particularly easy. Luckily, there's a lot of freedom involved that allows this project to mutate over time.

While trying to think of a project you always try to pull from what you know, like your interests and hobbies. That still leaves a lot of room, so lets narrow down those interests.

Aside from film, I have a big interest in figurines. "Action figures", toys, call them what you want. I started thinking, why not go with that.

Looking over some of the subjects we'll be working on during the course, I started thinking about how I could apply those in creating my final project. After thinking about it for a while, I came up with the idea of making a 'toy' robot.

I feel that I can apply a lot of of the course materials towards this project. I could include electronics, moving parts, lights. Possibly even a remote control to send commands to it. Certain parts could be produced through 3D printing and casting and molding.

Basically, build what you like, and apply what you learn!
