What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?¶
The First Spiral of the project within FabAcademy has all been completed.
After FabAcademy is finished, I will continue to update my final project at FabLab Kuriyama.
Be able to identify multiple pieces of trash at the same time so that each can be disposed of in the appropriate trash box.

The packaging has been updated since last week. (2022/5/29)
What tasks remain
After fabAcademy is finished, I would like to create a hopper for automatic sorting of plastic bottle caps.
What has worked? what hasn’t?¶
What has worked?

Raspberry Pi camera is able to recognize trash

The image recognition values can be sent wirelessly from the raspberry Pi to the sorting machine board.

Gears are meshing without problems.

Guides are running smoothly.

Ultrasonic sensor correctly control the opening and closing of the trash box lid.

After the series of trash separation is completed, machine can separate again in the same way.

Packaging is complete and unnecessary wiring is hidden.

Is it possible to identify when multiple pieces of trash are placed and dump them in the target trash boxes?

Final project slides and video will be completed by 6/5.
