The problem

In the metalworking industry there is a demand for plasma cutting, since it is a more precise cut, but the small industry acquires manual plasma cutting machinery, where the operator needs a lot of skill to make these cuts, causing many losses due to work grinding to achieve the required pressure.

The proposal

Given the problem, it is intended to design and manufacture a linear cutting device for a plasma cutting machine, this equipment will be portable, and it can also be assembled with any type of plasma cutting torch, even more, an oxyfuel torch can also be added. , the movement of this device will be controlled by a PIC controller powered by a 12 volt and 3 A source.
