Introduction

Unlike the task of week 5, this week I will have to design a circuit and obtain the files to machine it. I have started learning and using the EAGLE software (Easily Applicable Graphical Layout Editor). The code for the machining of the piece was obtained with the help of fabmodules. And, the machining I did on the Roland SRM-20. I tried to program the circuit with USBtinyISP through the Arduino IDE, but I could not do it, for now.

The steps I followed were the following:

Step 1

New

I created a new repository on GitHub.

Step 2

Create repository

I put a name.

Step 3

Import

I imported the template code from the website using the web URL.

Step 4

URL

The web URL is in the clone or download tab of the template repository.

Step 5

Start importing

I copied and pasted the URL and started the import.

Step 6

Open in Desktop

After cloning the repository in my GitHub account, I opened the project in GitHub Desktop. With the repository on my computer, I can edit the template with a text editor.

Step 7

Text editor

I edited the template code in Atom.

Step 8

Changes

GitHub Desktop detects the changes made in the code.

Commit

The commit is performed.

Step 10

Commit

Push is done and the changes in the web repository are updated.
