2D and 3D Design

This week we learned more about 2d and 3d design. I experimented with a few programs, but settled on using inkscape for 2d and tinkercad for 3d. This was mostly because I had already used the programs, and have a certain level of comfort with them. I had experimented with 2d design and vinyl cutters in the prior weeks, so I just made some new designs.

For my 3d project, I decided to model Tony Starks Arc Rector, from the Movie Iron Man. I am helping teach a course at Irving Middle School in Roslindale MA, through Citizen schools, and decided to use a lilypad arduino with LED's to make it come to life and use as a model for the project at the school. Attached is a link to find the design:https://tinkercad.com/things/bxRH3qJPzX8-hello-world-arc-reactor

I am lucky enough to have access to a 3D printer at home, so I printed off the design, attached the leds, and arduino board, then programed it.
