Principles and Practices
The Problem
Currently we are convading a pandemic caused by COVID19, this forces us to be in constant disinfection of our homes and work environments. In my city Trujillo, there is a high rate of infection and, as in several Latin American cities, hospitals are even more collapsed with the new variants that are produced due to the constant variation of COVID19.
The Proposal
Design and build a low-cost thermonebulizer machine that allows the disinfectant liquid to be transformed into dry smoke. This smoke can enter even the least accessible corners of each room
To avoid being in contact with this disinfectant smoke, the machine must be used by means of a remote control, it must also have a timer so that it is deactivated when a room has been disinfected.
Advantages
* Does not moisten papers.* Leaves no residue.
* They do not leave unpleasant odours.
* The smoke does not damage electrical equipment.
* It reaches the farthest corners.
Process to perform
The assignment for Week 1 of the Fab Academy was to “plan and sketch a potential final project”
As a first step we will create the two outer shells, if we look from the side we will notice the two shells joined by ½ inch bolts.
If we look from the top we notice the position of the handle to be able to mobilize it, we also notice the location of the timer and the location of the bottle that contains the disinfectant liquid.
Observing the back we see the power input, as well as the power button of the machine
When removing the cover from the top we can see the main pieces such as:
Core: This accessory allows you to turn liquid into vapor.
Pump: This accessory allows you to push the liquid that comes from the bottle towards the pump.
Heat Sensor: will protect the circuit from overheating
Finally, we have tried to develop an initial diagram of how the components would be connected for its operation, logically this diagram can vary when preparing the actual design.
