Applications and Implications Questions and Ansers

What will it do? - sort Legos by color (maybe by weight if there is extra time)
Who's done what beforehand? - there has been a few videos of people that have built similar machines
What will you design? - I will design the all three subsystems
What materials and components will be used? - I will use a bunch of motors and conveyor belts
Where will it come from? - I will give madison a list of stuff to order
How much will they cost? - as of now around $200
What parts and systems will be made? - I will need to make a system to sort items according to digital input, a system that finds the color and outputs a digital system, and a system to get different size parts from a bin of a lot to a single part
What processes will be used? - laser cutting, 3-d print, mill and a bord
What questions need to be answered? - How sensitive are the color sensors? What can a mechend do to get a pile of legos to only one lego repetitively?
How will it be evaluated? - if it works, and how well is the sorting.
