Individual assignment

What is the deadline? How much time do I have left?

Deadline is the begin of July,
but it need some time to response with instructors,
and my present is take place on 12th June,
So the real deadline will be around 10th June. About 1 weeks left.

What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

Digital fabrication parts were done,
output device was decided to be leds.

Boards for control leds and the interface via network still needs many works, Design of boards,
choice of processors,
what protocol will be follow,
and code for it are still need working.

How will I complete the remaining tasks in time?

Try it with arduino boards to test and debug frist,
So I can sure individual components is working.
Then try some “Hellow world” practice to sure how it operate,
modify it to the final purpose.

What has worked?

Cutting paper by vinyl cutter was done.
Use cutted paper to make composite was done.
Install led as output device was done.
An interface app on an android phone that can send message was done.

What hasn’t?

A board can link to network needed to be design and make.
A wireless linkage need to be test and working.
The interaction need to be design.

What questions need to be resolved?

Control the board on an android phone via bluetooth.

What will happen when?

Finish the control of arduino board by laptop through serial,
then do it via bluetooth.
After that, control my own board.

What have you learned?

How to design, produce and debug electronic.
Make and control elctronic through interface and network.
How to make a composite by vinyl cutter.
