5. ELECTRONICS PRODUCTION

Goal

Make an in-circuit programmer by milling the PCB, program it, then optionally, trying other processes.

Doing the assignment

First, I chose this model from the board suggested in the ASSIGNMENT.

Then refer to the sketch, the necessary components on the board, RESISTANCES, CAPACITORS, JUMPERS, RESONATOR,etc…

You can download the files by clicking on the bullets.

I opened the Fab Modules I chose the process of mill (.rml) in which input is image (.png)

I started with the rough (traces 1/64)

I used a Modela Machine , caliber and I milled.

I started with the rough (traces 1/64),I continued with the finish process (outline 1/32).It is important to modify the parameter of Path error (pixel) which by default is 1.1 and it is changed to 0.1

Welding

It is important to start welding components from the inside out, for a better welding process and avoid mistakes with adjacent tracks. That’s why I started with the attiny 44. Then, I started to weld the components according to the sketch or model chosen. First, weld resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc …

The material that I soldered was TIN

And finally, connect my circuit to AVR to program the terminal and save the programming.

Programming

First ,I followed the steps of the tutorial that was in the schedule.

  • Get and install avrdude / GCC software and dependencies:

    Program the FabISP:

I followed the steps according to the tutorial

If I were successful - you will see the following response from the system.
