Computer-Controlled Machining
- make something big.
I thought about making a chair for my son's room, then furniture for the garden and finally my wife tells me I need to put some order in the back room first, I thought of making a shelf, without a single screw.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS
The Shopbot is a cutting machine, therefore its dangerous, and you need to have the right tools, the appropriate safety equipment and it is also important to have a vacum machine to extract the sawdust.
WORKING WITH THE SHOPBOT
The Shopbot is CNC machine and it is necessary yo configure different settings such as type of bit, speed and depht of cut. It is important to decide whether the cut will start in the inner or outter side of the drawing line.
I was strongly suggested to make sure that mill reaches the appropriate speed before initiating the cut (the sound the mill makes will let you know)
CLEANING AND ARMING
After finishing the cutting, we need to fice the pieces to give them a better finish.
Be careful with splinters, safety gloves are necessary.
The assembly was not easy, I needed to use a rubber hammer to fit the pieces, but the effort was worth it.
