Final Project
For my final project I will be making a weather station for my room. I have always been interested in the weather, and have always been dissapointed with the comercially available options. I want to focus on making somehting that is simple to read, actually useful, and visually pleasing.
I plan to use an arduino clone as the brain behind the operation, and using a few sensors, including a thermometer, rain sensor, light sensor, humidity sensor, and possibly a wind sensor. For the output, I would like to use servos that turn an arrow and point at one of a few predetermined options for each sensor. I would also love to have a sunrise/sunset calculator as well.
I will make the enclosure out of either laser cut wood or acrylic. Then I will cut vinyl to decorate it, and make the numbers that the arrows will point to.
