Xu Sun is a produce designer with a rich academic and professional background. She earned her Doctorates from Loughborough University and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), and subsequently held postdoctoral research fellowships at Leicester University and the University of Nottingham.

Research Focus

Her research is centered on Human-Centered Design, leading to the development of market-ready products. Currently, she oversees two cutting-edge laboratories:

• The Hefeng-Nottingham Innovation Design Lab
• The Intelligent Human Factors Innovation Lab

These labs focus on the interactions between humans, machines, and the environment.
