My Final Project

Having spent some years of my life as a child - and also some holidays as an adult - at the country side, I heard stories about boars destroying the paddy fields. I have also witnessed some damages done by them to the crops. That's where the idea actually originated. Although, I didn't think it as advanced as what I will be working on, I always thought of some measures to keep them away. So for the Final Project, I decided to work on making a "Shooo!!! Boar".

    Future Improvements

    1. I would like to work on making the physical fabrication more like a tiger, with tails and all.
    2. I would like to work on my board to store the code. Right now I've to power the Shoo Boar from my PC. As soon as I unplug after uploading the code and connect the batteries, my board seems to forget the code. So have to work on that.
    3. I would like to work on ESp32 as the microcontroller so I can access to more features like wifi, bluetooth to control the Shoo Boar and make it user friendly.

    Conclusion

  • The journey in Fab Academy was an exciting and challenging one. Throughout the program, I gained a deep understanding of digital fabrication and how it can be used to create innovative designs and projects. I learnt about a variety of tools and technologies, and had the opportunity to work on projects that are both creative and practical. By the end of the program, I've gained the skills and knowledge to take my ideas and turn them into reality.
  • It was fun experiencing the rush every week to learn and complete assignment at the same time. Completing the assignment was so important because until the last week, my name was not called during the random generator by Professor Neil. I wanted to be prepared so completed almost all the assignments on time.
