Welcome to Thinlay Namgyal’s Fab Academy Journey

Why Fab Academy

FabLab was a new experience for me when I attended a week long classes in the FabLab Bhutan in September month and seeing the machines do the things that they do just through the inputs of designs made by humans have had me interested in learning more about what more these machines can do. Future seems to be promising with the help of these machines. I am totally new in this field so learning new things that fascinate and interests me is what I live for.

The Fab Academy is where I want to start building my career in with. I wish to explore the possibilities of how all the FabLab machines can help my small country in ways never explored before. I wish to be a programming and automation expert, and make new affordable machines that would help my country become self-sustainable in some ways.

I’m genuinely interested in getting my hands in the tech world. I want to succeed in tomorrow’s world and Fab Academy can literally help me achieve that.

After graduation from the FabAcademy, I would love to be an instructor to help train my fellow Bhutanese tech enthusiasts with the things i have learned in the FabAcademy and help them upgrade their technical skills and equip them with innovative skills that the whole Fab Academy is all about. I want to inspire young minds through stem education.
