I decided to build my website using KOMPOZER, because this software is user-friendly. I started working on my website with the model of this http://fabacademy.org/archives/2014/students/el-safty.omar/Index.htm
I chose to make a wind generator for educational use, focussing on how to generate electricity.
The final project will be an AXIAL GENERATOR based on permanent magnets, to be use in the laboratory of Electrical Machinery and Renewable Energy.
For this project:
My final project must:
• Benefit the Renewable Energy laboratory.
• Integrate the lessons learned during this
program.
• Only use affordable components in the
FabLab or at TECSUP.
• Have a compact size similar to the motors
of didactic use.
• Have a modular structure to perform
different tests.
Have this new machine be used by our students in the laboratories and will help them in the study of the small wind turbines.
Be use in other laboratories worldwide. Your suggestions will be welcome, as there is always room for improvement.
This is a good example of a multidisciplinary project: electrical, mechanical, electronic.
In the future, it would be used outdoors complementing it with blades, and study their performance. It could also be supplemented with an electronic power control.
