Below is an idea for my final presentation, its a butter knife thats has a internally heated element that allows easier spreading of butter on to breads. My Granny has arthritis occuring on her hands an spreading butter can be a painful and frustrating thing to. This has led me to design and fabricate a knife that is more conformed to the hand and has the ability to soften butter to aid in spreading. Through futher development this might be a battery powered handle to aid a number of tasks within the kitchen.
