4. Electronics production

This is week 4 Feb 17 >_< We were working on Programmer, electronics components, arduino coding and testing. I also learned the correct process of milling and programming my first own in-circuit Programmer, which is a simple LED blinky board. Besides, our group assignment was to characterize the design rules for the PCB production process on our labs Bantam PCB Mill.

Intro–For the knowledge!

To start this week’s learning project, I was exciting but also afraid, because I knew electronics had been my weakpoint for a long time. However, the reason I came to Fab Lab is because I wanted to overcome the intentionly cowering in my personality when I met any problems. So I determined my mind and looked up many electronical terms online translating from Mandarin to English trying to reduce any language issues that I could have by my best.

Thanks to Mr. Dubick and Dr. Taylor’s comprehensive introduction and workflow SLIDES about Programmer and Bantam PCB Mill machine, I found the right track to start my milling process on my blinky board.
