What will it do?

My project Kalakar is an Omni wheeled 4WD CNC Drawbot. Its a portable pen plotter that reads Gcode Send Via bluetooth and draw complex patterns in various surfaces.

 

Who will use it?

Kalakar is a device that caters for all ages, and may appeal particularly to those who enjoy being creative with pen and ink.

It consists of 4 omnidirectional wheels, attached to 4 stepper motors. The tentaive bill of material used for this project is shown below:

How will it be evaluated?

- Design, functionality and portability.

- Did I derive the forward, and inverse, kinematic equations.

- Does the device move according to the communicated Gcode.

- Does it draw basic Geometries.
