About

I’m the Director of Innovation & Technology at The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a K–8 school interested in creating a Fab Lab. I’m interested in how the tools and experiences found in a Fab Lab could be transformational for K–8 education. I believe we all know from first hand expierence that learning by doing is the best way to truly understand, and I’m excited to have our students inventing, creating and tinkering.

On a personal level, I’ve been a tinkerer since childhood - building with LEGO, tearing apart old electronics and building were playtime for me. While I started to focus more on creating with bits and bytes in college in interactive media, I’m thrilled to come around full circle as I explore both the digital and the physical side of fabrication in this course.
