My final project proposal is a rotating lamp, with changing light intensity and velocity of rotation. These changes will depend on mp3 files decoded from a circuit board, that will be analyzed through and arduino to obtain values on intensity (volume?) and speed (beats per minute?) The intensity of the light will depend on the intensity of the music. The speed of rotation will depend on the speed of the music.

The mechanism will be formed of a DC brushless motor, a transmission band and a rotating lamp. The choice of brushless motor and transmission band were because of their low mechanical noise in comparison with other alternatives.
