Part steampunk, part ars mechanica, part unbeliever, I grew up in the
midwest wishing that little girls could play with electric trains. Now
I discover with great glee and trepidation that there are even more
wonders in the world that I can interact with. I teach sociotechnical
systems and believe that successful interaction with the social depends
on an informed relationship with the technical. More importantly I am
attracted to the magic in technology.
