Bio

Background, experience, and what I’m building during FabLab 2026.

About Me

Hello, my name is Musaed Al-Kout. I’m currently attending FabLab 2026 to enhance my hands-on experience and expand what I can build in my home-based lab.

I started programming at an early age and gradually became proficient in multiple programming languages. I graduated from PACE University (New York, USA) with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Telecommunications and Satellite.

Highlights

  • Awarded 2nd Place across the New York District in Programming
  • Enterprise Architecture leadership in banking across Kuwait and the Middle East
  • ~20 years as Sr. Group Manager, IT in a major automotive company
  • Led implementations including SAP ERP and other enterprise systems

Aviation Journey

I pursued a long-time dream of becoming a pilot and traveled to Dublin, Ireland to earn my Private Pilot License (PPL) in a record time of 5 weeks.

Maker & Printing Work

I later launched a small printing studio, starting with 3D printing and sublimation printing on T-shirts and various materials, then expanding into laser cutting and 3D resin printing.

Today

Today, I run my own company in partnership with my wife. We represent WRO Kuwait (World Robot Olympiad) and enjoy teaching young kids about robotics and how to use technology to build skills and confidence.

Proud Projects

  • 3D-modeled robotics builds
  • Aircraft instrument creation for LSA (Light Sport Aircraft)
